According to Jack "Poppi T Clown" Erbstein, of Mahwah, who witnessed the accident said that the driver was reaching for a GPS device that fell off the windshield when she veered off the road and into the pole after a show at the day camp at Berkeley Elementary School. The driver was part of Call Us Clowns, a not-for-profit caring organization that puts on clown shows at schools and hospitals.
