Library of Congress has plan for saving recordings

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Library of Congress unveiled an extensive nationwide plan to help preserve recorded sound to guard against losing historic recordings as has happened with those by George Gershwin, Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland.
