People seek items dropped in Marathon panic

BOSTON (AP) — Christopher Baldwin came to police headquarters Tuesday in hopes of recovering the cell phone he dropped in the chaos following the twin bombings at last week’s Boston Marathon. Learning that the FBI likely had his phone, he tried to keep things in perspective.

Aunt says US suspect recently became devout Muslim

TORONTO (AP) — An aunt of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects said Friday the older brother recently became a devout Muslim who prayed five times a day, and she doesn’t believe the brothers could have been involved in Monday’s attack.

CHICAGO (AP) — Google is stepping in to help family and friends of Boston Marathon runners find their loved ones after explosions near the finish line. Google Person Finder allows users to enter the name of a person they’re looking for.
