NY WWII vet who liberated Nazi train dies in Fla.

HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — A World War II veteran from New York whose account of liberating Holocaust victims from a Nazi train led to reunions with the survivors 60 years later has died.

F-22 in Pearl Harbor event scrapes tail on landing

HONOLULU (AP) — An F-22 fighter jet used in a flyover during a remembrance ceremony at Pearl Harbor scraped its tail on a runway as it landed, causing $1.8 million in damage. A Hawaii National Guard spokesman says nobody was hurt in the incident.

No tsunami threat to Hawaii

HONOLULU (AP) – A strong earthquake that struck off the coast of Japan does not appear to pose a tsunami threat to Hawaii. According to Hawaii News Now, the earthquake occurred at 10:18 p.m. Thursday and had a magnitude of 7.3.
