Kobe out for season with torn Achilles tendon
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) – Kobe Bryant had surgery Saturday on his torn Achilles tendon, ending the season for the Los Angeles Lakers star.
Bryant was hurt late in the Lakers’ 118-116 win over Golden State on Friday night.
Raffle for NBA ring to benefit 8 charities
Ticket sales have begun in a raffle for an L.A. Lakers 2010 NBA championship ring belonging to Hall of Fame player and coach Bill Sharman, along with two premium tickets for a Lakers game.
