WASHINGTON (AP) — What does it all mean? That’s the question facing spelling whizzes across the country, who learned Tuesday that they will have to know the definitions of some of the those tough words they’ve been memorizing in the dictionary.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The National Spelling Bee is putting plans for a world bee on hold. The E.W. Scripps Company announced last year that it was considering an international competition. But now Scripps said it has “no immediate plans” to launch a world bee.
