Way back in the day, the NFL draft went 16 rounds. And they still got it done in one day. Now it’s seven rounds. And it takes three days. Blame ESPN. Hard to believe, but when they started televising the early rounds in the 8os, it was dismissed as a non-event.

Two explosions at Boston marathon finish line

BOSTON (AP) — Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon have resulted in injuries.

Bloody spectators were being carried Monday to the medical tent that had been set up to care for fatigued runners. Police wove through competitors as they ran back toward the course.
